Health Focused Profile:

Congratulations! You are already making several steps to eat healthier when eating out. Your answers reflect that you have an interest in eating well, and it shows. When you make dining choices, you are already taking some very important steps like reading the menu, evaluating ingredients, and looking at how foods are prepared. You also limit the number of times that you eat at fast food restaurants.

While you may struggle with your weight (who doesn't, right?), making healthier meal choices at home and away from home will help you lose and maintain a body weight that's ideal for you. Be wary of fad diets; any plan that doesn't fit your lifestyle won't help you keep weight off long term, so be sure to find a "diet" that fits your lifestyle best. Keep doing what you're doing, and if you struggle losing weight, try reducing the portions of what you eat and keep between-meal snacks limited to fruits and vegetables or nonfat or lowfat dairy.

Since you are already probably exercising, make sure that you try to step it up, and meet the health recommendations of 60 minutes of exercise most days of the week. Try to include a variety of activities so that you get a total body workout-and don't forget that strength training and stretching, along with aerobic conditioning, are all necessary to achieve total body fitness.
